⁸ That it might cause chemah (fury) to come up to take vengeance; I have set her dahm upon the exposed rock, that it should not be covered.

⁹ Therefore thus saith Adonoi Hashem: Oy to the ir hadamim (bloody city)! I will even make the pyre great.

¹⁰ Heap on wood, kindle the eish, cook the basar, and spice it well, and let the atzmot be burned.
